Scar Eye taught you to hunt for the leader of the deer, and then to put his head in a place where Refinger may appear, so that Refinger would become angered enough to fight you. After following the directions and killing Refinger, a spirit similar to Refinger appeared. When it disappeared, you were able to get the head of Refinger. Scar Eye began insulting the head once he got it, but then the head transformed into Eyescar's corpse. Scar Eye became frightened and fled. However, he fell down, and then in a sudden blast of light transformed into Refinger and ran off into Frostwood Valley.
