The Big Dig on the outskirts of the Obsidian Stronghold is a major mining area. Back when, the first five miners that dug the mine were attacked and killed by the demons deep in the mine pit. Memorial statues were later erected at the places where they died. It is said that those about to become miners will be protected by our ancestors as long as they carry mine dust from all five of the statues.
