New to Chronicles of Arcadia? This guide will help you start your adventure, from creating your character to exploring systems that make you stronger, faster and wealthier.

Create a Character

When logging in for the first time, you'll be guided through character creation.
Name: This is your unique player identity. You can change it later by paying money.

Race & Class Selection

You’ll choose one of three races, each with its own starting zone:

  • Elves
  • Humans
  • Dwarves

Each race offers a variety of classes (6 per race). These define your combat role:

  • Tank: Absorbs damage, protects allies
  • Healer: Restores health and removes debuffs
  • Melee DPS: Close-range burst or sustained damage
  • Ranged Physical DPS: Uses bows/guns from a distance
  • Ranged Magical DPS: Uses elemental spells and AoE attacks

For detailed class descriptions, check out the Class Guide.

Gender & Appearance

  • Purely cosmetic.
  • Can be changed later using Diamonds.
  • Character customization is available during creation and modifiable later.

Entering the World

Each race starts in a unique starting zone:

Upon entering the game, you’ll meet an NPC based on your race who will guide you through introductory quests to help you understand the game’s mechanics.

🧠 Note: Only Dwarves can complete all Yrvandis Hollow quests.
