Training your pet is one of the most important parts of developing a powerful and reliable companion. Pets support you in combat by boosting your stats and using special skills, but their effectiveness depends on their egg type, attributes, growth, and how well you manage their development.
🎯 Choosing a Pet for Training
Before you start training, aim to pick a pet with strong foundational traits:
- 🟠 Choose a Holy Egg (orange) or the highest quality available
- 🌪️ Select an element that fits your class (e.g. Water for mages, Earth for warriors)
- 📊 High aptitude is key: 75–80% or more is ideal
- 🐣 Lower starting level (2–5) is preferable to keep it manageable
⚠️ Pets can only level up to 5 levels above your current level. If they exceed that, you can’t summon them.
Pet Stats & Growth Factors
| Term | Description |

| Attribute Type | Same attributes as your character (Strength, Wisdom, etc.) |
| Growth Rate | Fixed by egg quality and element; defines how fast attributes grow |
| Attribute Value | The base number added to each attribute |
| Assistance Value | The portion of attributes granted to the master while the pet is summoned |
| Aptitude | % multiplier for stat increases on level-up; can be permanently increased |
| XP / TP | Experience Points (XP) level up your pet; Talent Points (TP) are used for skills |
| Loyalty | Boosts support efficiency; 75+ required to fight, 85+ slows hunger |
| Nourishment | Affects support %; 80%+ required for conversations |
How to Level Up Your Pet
You can level pets by either fusion or feeding.
Fusion System
Fusion is the primary way to enhance your pet’s attributes.
Basic Rules:
- Element Matching: You can only fuse pets with the same element (or with "None")
- Level Restriction: Reagent must be ≤ the Agent’s level
- Daily Limit: Max 3 fusions per day (resets ~06:00 CET/CEST)
- No Skill Transfer: Reagents lose their skills permanently
Fusion Process:
- Open the Fusion Window in the pet interface
- Place the Agent (main pet) in the left slot
- Add Reagent(s) to the right slot
- Preview the results - only higher stats from the Reagent will carry over
- Click the fusion orb to confirm
Double Mode Fusion
If you have a Double Mode Voucher (from Companion Conversations), you can fuse two reagents at once.
- Activate Double Mode → add two reagents
- The preview shows combined stat increases
- Saves you one daily fusion slot
- No risk: preview first before confirming
Gaining Experience (XP)
1. Fusion
- Same-level fusion: 1,000 XP max
- Lower-level fusion: 500 XP or less
- Tip: Use big pets as reagents to boost XP quickly
2. Feeding
- Pet Food: Basic XP boost
- Pet Experience Encyclopedia: Read at home to gain XP passively
- Pet Experience Charms: Fill while gaining your own XP, then feed to your pet
Earning Talent Points (TP)
- Through Leveling Up: Each level gives a small number of TP
- Through Potions:
- Get from item shop or gold egg exchange
- 500 Training Points = 100 TP
- TP is used for learning and upgrading passive pet skills
Increasing Aptitude
Methods:
- Fusion (with higher-aptitude pets)
- Awakening Potion (1,000 TP required)
- Purchase from item shop or special stores
Boosting Attribute Values
Via Level-Up
Basic growth according to egg’s growth rate
Via Fusion
- Reagent must have higher attribute values
- Useful for increasing specific stats (e.g., Strength)
- Use Neutralizing Bars to help with targeted boosts
Elemental Egg Fusion
Certain eggs (like Unholy Companion Eggs) boost chances of upgrading specific attributes
Tips for Efficient Training
- Don’t overlevel your pet above your second class
- Maintain 85%+ loyalty and nourishment during training
- Track your daily fusion count (3/day)
- Use runes or passive skills early to complement your growth path
