The Gubod use a special woven straw vessel to contain things in their sacrifice. The straws were cleaned with the spring water, then soaked in the herb by the Gubod scavengers. These works have been considered as a process of "being blessed". The Gubod believes that a perfect sacrifice can start only after this process has been done.
