Instances Revision: November 27, 2025

Instances are one of the main ways to progress your character in Chronicles of Arcadia. Each one offers unique challenges, rewards and mechanics that help you grow stronger and unlock new parts of the game. Understanding where each instance fits in the progression path will guide you from early custom content to high-level group adventures.

Endgame Instances

  • [Orkham]: Step into the fallen city of northern [Talaghan], where the [Dark Core] has twisted every street and shadow. As you explore its corrupted ruins, your mission is clear. Drive back the darkness before it spreads beyond [Orkham]'s broken walls.
  • [Dark Core]: Step into the heart of pure corruption, where a living shadow consumes the world around you. Face the [Dark Core] itself and push back the darkness before it swallows everything.
  • [The Shattered Grove]: Step into a realm where time, memory, and identity have collapsed into fragments. The grove glitches, shifts and devours what it cannot hold together. Leaving behind broken echoes of those who once tried to protect it.

Advanced Instances

  • [Secret Temple of Tikal]: Find yourself deep within an ancient jungle temple once ruled by the mysterious Pakal. His power still lingers in every chamber, drawing brave adventurers to uncover the secrets he left behind.
  • [Inferno of Divinity]: Step into Midgard as the peace of [Taborea] shatters under Loki's fiery invasion. Face his demonic legions and push back the inferno threatening to consume the world.
  • [Gorge of the Ice Giants]: Enter the frozen lands ruled by Glacis, a mage twisted into an elemental tyrant. His failed resurrection spell unleashed an ice plague, raising an army of ruthless frost creatures.
  • [Realm of Forgotten Legends]: Descend into a chaotic realm opened by the reckless Black Codex. Explore ancient ruins, tangled jungle, and molten depths as you confront Astaroth.
