Mounts in Chronicles of Arcadia are essential companions for fast and stylish travel across the vast world of Taborea. Whether you're journeying through cities or crossing rugged terrain, mounts provide speed, convenience, and flair.
Mount Speed
All mounts now share a unified movement speed of 80%, regardless of rarity or type. This change was implemented to streamline gameplay and prevent imbalance between older and newer mounts.
How to Obtain Mounts
There are several ways to get your hands (or hooves) on a mount:
- Item Shop: Purchase mounts in 7-day, 30-day, or permanent versions.
- Wheel of Fortune: Offers a chance to win rare and permanent mounts.
- VIP Status: Grants automatic access to the exclusive Golden Monoceros for the duration of your VIP membership.
Passenger Capacity
Mounts vary in how many players they can carry:
- Single-Rider Mounts: The most common type.
- Two-Person Mounts: Allows you to carry a friend or companion.
- Multi-Passenger Mounts: The Dagger Skeleton Mount is unique, with capacity for up to six players at once.
Special Mount Features
Some mounts offer more than just mobility:
- Waterwalking: Certain mounts won’t despawn when crossing water.
- Instant Summon: Skip the cast time with specific mounts.
- Dyeable Mounts: Customize your mount’s color using dye items.
Speed Boost Options
Although all mounts share the same base speed, several effects can further increase your movement:
- Mount Speed Potion and Lesser Mount Speed Potion
- Titles that grant bonus movement speed
- Housemaid Buffs from your in-game home
These bonuses stack, allowing you to travel significantly faster than the base 80% mount speed.
