In Chronicles of Arcadia there are many ways to boost the power of your character. You can decide on which ones you want to spend your time and effort on. If you want, all of them are achievable by everyone because all paths are open to be explored. However, it's important to remember that while these options can make your character stronger, they are by no means mandatory to enjoy the game.

Beginner Progression

Summary:

  • Goal: Learn the basics and level up your character.
  • Focus On:
    • Gaining Experience and Talent Points
    • Choosing a secondary class
    • Unlocking Elite Skills
    • Using Beginner Gear (Lv92 set from Johnny Dalker)
    • Collecting early Monster Cards and Pets

1.   Experience Points: These will increase the level of your character. From level 1 to level 105. It can be done by killing monsters, completing quests, using specialized orbs and many other ways.

2.   Talent Points: These will increase the Skills level in your character. It can be done by killing mobs, completing quests, using specialized orbs and many other ways.

3.   Skills: In “K” (by default) you can see all your skills. Some are active when taking the class, others require you to level up your character (Experience Points) and others are specific to the class and subclass. You also have active (Elite Skills) which can be obtained every 5 levels (starting on level 15).

4.   Secondary Classes: There are 3 Races: Human, Elf and Dwarf. Also, there are 11 Classes in total.

  • In all Races: Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Bard
  • Human: Priest, Knight, Scout
  • Elf: Druid, Warden, Scout
  • Dwarf: Priest, Warlock, Champion

Each one of them can be combined with a secondary class which will give new abilities. You can find dozens of new combos mixing classes from different races.

5.   Quests: In “L” by default. Mainly 3 different types:

  • Normal quests (yellow): Non repeatable. They are the main ones and can’t be completed more than once.
  • Daily Quests (blue): Repeatable. 10x free every day. They can be completed again by using Reset Daily Ticket.
  • Regional Quests (pink): Repeatable. They are in some maps and are connected to active events inside the same zone.

6.   Titles: In “T” by default. They can be obtained by completing quests, by killing monsters in the open world and instances, Siege War, Gathering, Production, Events, Minigames and Festivals.

7.   Gear: In “C” by default.  It can be obtained from monsters or as a reward while questing. These pieces will have the same level as the zone you get them from. Once you reach level 91, there is a NPC in Varanas (Eye of Wisdom) called Johnny Dalker that will give you a complete gear (Beginners Package) to help you in higher levels.

9.   Monster Cards: In “P” by default. They can be obtained by killing monsters in the open world and in instances by completing quests, events or festivals. In total there are more than 3.000 cards to collect.

Midgame Systems

Summary:

  • Goal: Improve your build and unlock advanced systems.
  • Focus On:
    • Farming Minigame Sets and using +20 Jewels
    • Enhancing Item Set Skills and Title Levels
    • Upgrading Cards with Card Stones
    • Farming Mirrorworld for Cenedrils
    • Using Arcane Forge to craft Mana Stones

Slowly starting to experiment and look deeper into the next paths is part of your journey. 

  1. Skills Medium: Item Set Skills are obtainable in instances (starting on level 55). Giving the pieces obtained to the NPC Rachel Turnbull will allow you to learn all these skills.
  2. Titles Medium: Title System. In “T” by default. An extra system that complements the normal titles. There are different levels and it can be improved.
  3. Gear Medium: Minigame Sets in Atlas are a good way to replace the first Beginners Package Gear. It can be, for example, plussed to +20 with jewels, tiered to 9-10 with mana stones and include some level X or XI runes to make it even more powerful.
  4. Pets Medium: There are few types:
    • Cenedril: These animals can be obtained in the Mirrorworld. These are little fast and solo instances made to easily farm every day. There are 5 to 7 free entries daily which can be reset using Mirrorworld Tickets. You can get different materials to improve your Cenedril Pet.
    • Zodiacs and Draco:  There exist 4 types of them, Earth (Geo), Wind (Aero), Fire (Pyro) and Water (Hydro). The material for them can be obtained doing festival events, mostly in Varanas and Dalanis. They provide daily buffs for 3 hours and can also be reset.
  5. Monster Cards Medium: Once you have gotten some cards, they can be improved. You can add stats on them using different stones (“Cards Stone”). A NPC called Asmial in Atlas sells them. Different currencies like Soul Stones, can be used to purchase the “Cards Stones”.
  6. Arcane Forge:  This is a custom place designed to farm materials that can be exchanged into mana stones. You have 30 free minutes per day and it's resettable with Memory Stone.

Endgame Progression

Summary:

  • Goal: Maximize power and take on custom high-level content.
  • Focus On:
    • Custom endgame gear with Tier XII–XIII runes
    • Full stat monster cards in multi-decks
    • Unlocking Golden Wings, Robots, and Artefacts
    • Mastering the Corruption System in Orkham

Endgame content is the hardest to achieve. It requires effort and time so just remember, it is not mandatory to play the game.

1.   Gear Endgame: These are the sets from the highest current custom instances. These pieces can be improved using the newest stats, tier 12 or 13 runes and upgraded to high tiers using dirty or clean mana stones. The options to improve are almost limitless.

2.   Monster Cards Endgame: Cards can be improved but they can also be maxed out. Obtain 4x different stats on each one of the cards and increase their value to the maximum. In addition, these maximized cards can be added to additional decks for all the possible classes. 

3.   Golden Wings: A special back slot obtained with very low chance by opening one of the gashas in Atlas Defense or by winning some Special Events that are announced from time to time in our forum. It is a very exclusive item.

4.   Artefact: Obtained in Nostalgia Content. There are 2 types: Moon and Sun.

5.   Robot: Obtained in Arena of Darkness. They have different components which grant several different passive buffs that will improve your character.

6.   Corruption System: Obtained in the instance “Orkham”. This whole new system allows to improve weapons and gear pieces from this instance to higher levels. Using new Corruption Crystals and Corruption Shards providing dozens of new possible combinations to increase the damage, the attributes or even the drop loot.
